What is representation?
- Representation is the use of signs to communicate something to the audience.
- Semiotics = The study of signs. How we make meaning through the creation and interpretation of signs.
- Signs can be words, images, sounds, odours, flavours, acts, objects or phrases.
- A sign can be interpreted differently by different people.
